To the 1st International Conference on Renewable Energy Gas Technology, REGATEC 2014 that takes place 22-23 May 2014 at Scandic Triangeln (former Hilton hotel) in Malmö, Sweden.

REGATEC 2014 has a technical and industrial focus and is directed towards biomethane production through thermo-chemical and microbial conversion of biomass and waste. REGATEC includes plenary and parallel sessions, a poster session, an exhibition, a conference gala dinner and excellent opportunities to find new collaboration and business partners.

REGATEC is organised by prof. Frank Scholwin, Institute for Biogas, Waste Management & Energy, and dr. Jörgen Held, Renewable Energy Technology International AB.

The rapid development of indirect gasification and the possibility to produce bioSNG in the small scale together with the strong development in the biogas sector calls for a new platform where the latest advances can be showcased and discussed. We have identified several synergies between these two sectors that are unexploited and it’s our hope that REGATEC will spark new insights, new ideas, a stronger interaction between the gasification and anaerobic digestion sector and new collaborations.
