The Combustion, Gasification & Propulsion Laboratory (CGPL), in the Dept. of Aerospace Engineering a the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, has supplied many gasifiers in India. The attached documents has profiles of 14 gasifiers including the Arashi Hi-Tech Biopower Ltd shown above. This installation is an independent power producer that is making a high valued partially activated carbon co-product. The gasifiers are operating on a wide variety of fuels. Many have operated for more than 2000 hours.
